LEGOLAND Dubai scale model

In late 2014 we were asked to design and build a scale model of the new LEGOLAND Dubai theme park that is currently being built in Dubai UAE.

After 5 months of planning, designing and building, the model was finished, shipped to Dubai and displayed at the 2015 Tourism Expo.

The model was built at a scale of 1:120 and measured over 4m x 4 m in size and included the entire park featuring Miniland, Knights Kingdom with is roller coaster, LEGO City and all the rides and buildings. Each brick was meticulously glued into position and totalled around 150,000 parts. Some of the rides spin around and the Dragon Roller coaster is positional.
