Beauty and the Beast Exhibition - for LEGO and Disney in Hong Kong

One of the great things about the work we do is that we get to work with some huge names in the creative and entertainment industry, but it doesn't get any bigger than working with the Walt Disney company!

To promote the new live action movie, Beauty and the Beast as well as launch the new product, BrickHeadz, for LEGO Hong Kong, we were commissioned to hold an exhibition in Hong Kong centred around our Beauty and the Beast LEGO castle.

The exhibition ran for 1 month at Langham Place Shopping Mall, in Mong Kok, Hong Kong and featured our massive 2.2 metre tall castle, the Lumiere sculpture, a replica of the Beast's Enchanted Rose from the movie and a LEGO pop-up shop that sold all things LEGO Disney.

Kevin had quite a few interviews from local and regional media, including TV, newspapers and magazines, which was then broadcast all over Asia including Mainland China. The PR coverage spanned over fifteen different local and international media. Below are a few links that can be viewed online.

Some of the links of the media:

We had visitors come in their thousands to see the exhibition and Kevin was more than happy to pose with the fans which included a couple from the USA who play the characters of Jasmine and Aladdin at Disneyland! The fans came to visit from quite a few Asian countries, such as Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and even Australia and Canada

The event was a roaring success for all parties, including LEGO Hong Kong and the LEGO Certified Store who ran the pop-up shop. Janette Lo who manages the store was delighted to be part of the event and said:

"The setup of the exhibition and pop-up store at the 4/F atrium of Langham Place during the month of March proved to be a quadruple win-win scenario for the LEGO brand, the shopping mall, the cinema as well as our store."

Apart from promoting the movie, the exhibition was used to launched the new LEGO product range, BrickHeadz in the Asia region. There were workshops held in the LEGO Certified Store for fans to build a LEGO micro Beauty and the Beast Castle. Plus, with the purchase of Disney LEGO sets within a certain amount, the customers received the LEGO micro enchanted rose with bell jar set.
