Tudor Times Brick Exhibition
The Galleries Shopping Centre, Bristol
We have been busy creating some amazing Tudor themed models for our latest exhibition, "Tudor Times", which is being launched at The Galleries shopping centre in Bristol over the Easter break. The exhibition will be on display from the 24th March to the 8th April.
The Tudor times were between AD1485 and 1603 when Britain was ruled by the Tudor monarchs. This era was famous for such things as Henry VIII and his six wives, beautiful palaces and castles and the plays of William Shakespeare.
This LEGO® brick exhibition brings to life some of this great era that changed the face of Britain with a huge model of Hever Castle, Anne Boleyn's childhood home, to Shakespeare’s Globe and a sculpture of henry VIII based on the famous painting by Holbein.
PLUS on Tuesday 3rd April there will be FREE LEGO® BRICK WORKSHOPS for visitors to make Tudor themed LEGO® Brick models, such as knights and castles, to help create a terrific Tudor display. The LEGO® brick building workshops will run at the following times:
10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm
Each workshop will run for approximately 45 minutes. Workshops will be situated on the ground floor, near Thorntons and Celebrations.
Please note: Spaces in the LEGO building workshops are strictly limited to 20 people per session and will operate on a first come, first served basis. So please arrive early to avoid disappointment, this event using LEGO® bricks is suitable for ages 4+.
